For 2015, the Maserati GranTurismo is offered in either coupe or convertible versions, which come in Sport, MC, and Centennial trims. All are powered by a 454-horsepower 4.7L hand-built V8 engine, which makes 384 pound-feet of torque. The unit is mated to a ZF 6-speed automatic transmission with both manual and sport modes, with the latter opening up the exhaust system for a louder, deeper note during acceleration. A sport mode also reduces shift times by about 50 percent. Maserati claims the GranTurismo will hit 60 mph in 4.7 seconds, on its way to a top speed of 185 mph.
